The 10ML Fragrance Index provides a read-only Model Context Protocol server and HTTP API for perfume discovery. AI assistants can search a catalog of perfumes, retrieve fragrance profiles, compare products, find similar scents or alternatives, explore notes and houses, and get recommendations for occasions or gifts.
The service describes its data as editor-curated and supports ten languages. Its MCP endpoint uses Streamable HTTP without authentication, and setup guides cover Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and Cline. A command-line package is also available.
The public fragrance server requires no sign-in and is presented as free to use. Responses link back to 10ML guides or fragrance pages. Treat recommendations as discovery assistance rather than a substitute for sampling a scent.
